Pastor Jeff On His Way
Pastor Jeff Matas will be coming to Edmonds on December 3rd to begin his
ministry as Senor Pastor at the Edmonds Church of God! Mark you calendars
for December 7thHis first Sunday preaching will be on December 7th!
Carla
and the kids will stay behind in Pennsylvania in hopes that their home will
sell very soon. The plan is for Jeff to stay and preach every Sunday
through December 21st. He will return to Pennsylvania on Christmas Eve to
spend the holidays with his family. Pastor Jeff plans to return to Edmonds
on January 2nd.
Pastor Matas' goals for the next month are to:
* Build relationships with staff and the church.
* Fill the pulpit during the crucial holiday season.
* Begin planning with staff and other leaders of the congregation.
Continue to pray for the Matas family so that this period of separation will
not be for long and that the house will sell for a good price.
