Sweet Potato/Yam Casserole By Denise Sherrer

Preheat oven to 350

One large can of sweet potatoes or yams (drained)

1 stick of butter melted

1 cup of brown sugar

1 cup of pecans

a little cinnamon

one large egg or 2 small

Beat potatoes/yams and half the brown sugar and half the butter with the egg and a little cinnamon until creamy.

Pour into a baking dish with some PamŽ sprayed on it for easy cleaning

Evenly put the pecans on top

Sprinkle the rest of the brown sugar evenly on top.

Drizzle the rest of the melted butter on top

Bake for about a half hour until the top is bubbly and the pecans are toasty brown

I make this for thanksgiving, instead of the marshmallow kind i was so sick of..LOL

Usually, there is none left.
