Ratings Update
On May 20, at Woodrose Farm in Pittston, Maine, Tamarack held it's first rating of the year. Meaghan Foster and Carrie Marlett both took and passed their C1s and Laura Symes took and passed her C2 with flying colors!! Congratulations and job well done!
On August 26, Tamarack held their second rating of the year, at Woodrose Farm, with Karen Lyons as the examiner. Amanda Wade took and passed her D1 and D2 on her new horse Quinn, and Grace Macomber took and passsed her D2. Nice job!
On October 14, Tamarack held their final rating of the season at Woodrose Farm, with Barbara Packales as the examiner. Grace Macomber and Amanda Wade both passed their D3s. Now everyone has lots of work to do this winter to prepare for spring ratings next year. Keep up the good work!
Kentucky 2001
USPC Festival of Friends in Lexington, Kentucky was absolutely wonderful!! It was really hot down there, but we all seemed to survive. Four Tamarack members, Laura, Karen, Meaghan, and Krissy, went down to compete in Knowdown, Dresage, and Show Jumping. With nearly 1000 competitors, all of our members did really well. Ask them about their trip and ask to see some pictures of the facilities at the Kentucky Horse Park and the Rolex cross-country course.
New Members
Tamarck is growing very rapidly with tons of new members. During this year, we've had quite a few people join and many ready to sign up in January. Amanda Wade and Kate Jackson joined this year, and Amy and Cymry Flood and Alex Thomas will be joining us at the start of the new year. Make an effort to get to know all of them at the upcoming Christmas party!
