Prince is a lovely example of a Morgan in any color. It is all the more exciting and "icing" on the cake that he is a shade of cream. We have had him tested by the UC Davis Color Genetics Lab out in CA and they confirmed by DNA that he is a perlino. What we like best about Prince is that while he is an unusual color for the Morgan breed, he fits the breed ideal. He has a long well set neck, a lovely topline, and excellent straight legs as well as the most beautiful typey head with a big, big eye, tippy little ears, and a dished profile. This extraordinary four year old perlino gelding is for sale. Sadly his stunning sire passed away and so he is and always will be one of a kind. Prince stood only fourteen hands high the last time we put a stick to him so he would be best suited for a child or small adult. He will make an excellent family horse as he has the most laid back attitude. Very calm and cool. Nothing scares him and he has a curious and affectionate personality. Quick to learn, eager to please, and desperate for your affections. He is in training under saddle and is being brought along as a hunter/jumper and also as a trail horse. The perfect family pet for both show and pleasure. He is looking for his new forever family. Believe me, once he has stolen your heart with those amazing baby blues you'll never want to give him up! Prince is very mild and trustworthy enough that beginners feel comfortable on and around him even though he is a young horse at the beginning of his career. Prince has several paternal siblings and two maternal siblings. Both sides of the family have produced world class show horses who have proved their ability on the A Rated show circuit. One breeding program in particular has really benefited from the Aquila Morgans and has produced two of the most outstanding colorful Morgans in the breed to date. The palomino Morgan mare MLB The Madame is Prince's paternal sister. She won the title Regional Grand Champion Mare In Hand awarded at the 2003 Citrus Cup Regional Show and is the first palomino mare to win the title in the history of the breed. She continued her 2003 show career with two top 10 placements in both the Morgan Grand National 2 yr old pleasure driving and the World Futurity 2 yr old pleasure driving at the 2003 Morgan Grand Nationals. Think of it as the Superbowl of the Morgan breed. The buckskin stallion MLB Capo Di Capo is Prince's maternal brother and also has made his way to the Grand Nationals, winning qualifying classes all over Florida. He has shown on the A rated circuit in the pleasaure driving division, the hunter division, and most recently the western pleasure division exemplifying the reknowned verstatility of the Morgan horse. He has been called by many of the countries top Morgan breeders "The most beautiful and correct colorful Morgan in the breed."
