July, 1987. Headed home after a weekend at my buddy George Richert's cabin in Springville, NY. Gimme a break on the hair, I hadn't showered for three days. That's my first bike, a 1982 Yamaha Maxim 400. $1200, 12 years, 12,000 miles.
