Bio Matter

ALWAYS UNDER CONSTRUCTION

Really, how many people are significant enough to rate a biography? Even A&E's "Biography" was reduced to doing a show on Peter Graves ("I'm Peter Graves, for 'Biography'. Tonight - Peter Graves.") Being particularly insignificant, I'll just hit the bullet points...

David Schipani. Born and raised in Buffalo, NY, now living in Maine. BA in English and psychology, SUNY/Buffalo. Taurus. Small-L libertarian.

FAVORITE PLACES:

HEROES:

Ulysses S. Grant; George Orwell.

MOST SIGNIFICANT RECENT PERSONAL ACHIEVEMENT:

...determining that mustard and vinegar are the missing ingredients that keep pathetically bland Maine-style potato salad from being as tasty as Buffalo-style potato salad. Now when I'm having dinner with the in-laws, and my mother-in-law isn't looking, I just stir some in on my plate. Mmmmmmmm, tasty.

DREAM JOBS:

GREASY RIDER

July, 1987. Headed home after a weekend at my buddy George Richert's cabin in Springville, NY.

That's my first bike, a 1982 Yamaha Maxim 400.

$1200, 12 years, 12,000 miles.
