Thief is computer game that is based on a fictional man named Garret. He is a talented thief who makes a living by stealing. He does odd jobs for people who will offer money for an item that he would steal or just a job he has to do for personal reasons. The first game Thief: The Dark Project was Garrets first appearance. A sequel was created, Thief 2: The Metal Age. Soon to be released is the third installment, known now only as Thief III.

Even though my FanFiction is based in the world created by these games I do not base them Garret for reasons of background and future. The thief in these stories is of my own creation, but the items he uses are not.
