Seresta classical guitar from Brazil
Below is a Seresta (Giannini) classical made in Brazil in 1988. It was owned by a missionary (?) who currently lives in New York. It was dragged all over the US and parts of Central America. It shows every mile. When I got it (for $10) the top was sunken in, it was basically unplayable, and it was covered with stickers. I removed the back (not hard since it was held on with clear packing tape) and rebraced the top, also slipping the neck to a better angle in the process. I refretted it... the fastest fret job I've ever done, while Easter dinner was cooking! I even re-used the strings that came on it... D'Addarios... they're good like that. it's just an old clunker classical that won't go away.
