1965 Fender Palomino

Somehow I always manage to drag something home that should have been left at the dump, flea market, trailer park, or EBAY. This one could have come from any of those. Actually I got it on ebay for too much money. I wanted a challenge and I GOT it. This was owned by someone in the Vicksburg, Mississippi area, or at least that's where I got it from. I don't know if the previous owner lived on the street or just didn't care what happened to his guitar but by the time it got to me, just about any hell that could be imagined short of being run over by a bus had happened to this guitar.

I'll let the photos speak for themselves. I did my best to fix all structural issues while avoiding doing much cosmetically, as it looks cool as is. I had to employ some unconventional repair techniques out of necessity, like using masking tape as clamps, but ya do what ya gotta do, right? At least that's an improvement over using tape to actually hold it together!
