1969 Gibson B45-12

One guitar I always wanted was a Gibson 12 string from the 60s. I guess the problem in acquiring one was finding one that didn't have the top caved in or the neck in need of resetting. I also had a difficult time justifying the cost of a good 12 string as it would only be used occasionally.

I finally lucked out. This is a 1969 B45-12, all original, and structurally fine. It may have had a neck reset; touchup can be seen in the neck joint area (barely! I had to use a loupe...) I picked it up on ebay for a paltry $499. The action is low and it has a nice voice (well, it IS a Gibson!). Given the easy life it has, it should slake any 12 string thirst I may have for years to come.
