A Brand New Webspace...

Hello, and welcome to the unofficial website of Sioux City's East High Black Raiders. We started this site because the real, official website isn't updated very much, and we thought it would be great to have a website that really represents the school spirit we have.

Just for some information, our school's colors are black and orange (pretty obvious, with the webpage, I suppose!). Our school is pretty big for our little city, with a total population of about 1200 students, and nearly 90 faculty members. I'll try to find more facts that I think belong in this paragraph later...

Our school prides itself at being the best in many departments. Our sports department is a major part of our school, and our sporting trophies are displayed in the commons (right as you walk into the school). There's everything from football, basketball, softball, tennis, vollyball, swimming, golf, even bowling!

Besides sports, we also have a fabulous music and drama department. Our fall plays and spring musicals have won acclaim from all over, and some people claim that they would rather see one of our plays than a professional production-what a credit to the department! Our band and choirs have won countless awards, and there are so many activities to be in, such as jazz band, all-state band and choir, showchoir, and many more. Our showchoir is one of the best in the region. We've even performed at nationals in Nashville, Tennessee!

We will be keeping you updated with all the latest news and events here, at East High, home of the Black Raiders!
