The Maine Learning Technology Initiative (MLTI) is the largest educational technology project in the history of Maine and perhaps the world. Maine stands as the first state to embark upon a plan to eliminate the digital divide by providing a laptop to each and every 7th and 8th grade student and teacher.

MECATS (Maine Center for Assistive Technology and Software)
MECATS is a  state-wide resource for information, technical assistance, and professional development about assistive technology, universally  designed curriculum., specialized software, and Web accessibility. MECATS is working toward an inclusive world where everyone has access to  high quality, meaningful learning.

MLTI (Maine Learning Technology Initiative) Summer Teacher Training Registration Website  This site offers information about the training available to seventh grade teachers in the summer of 2002. Eighteen two-day sessions will be offered throughout the state between  June and August.
