Here are some movies I have seen and what I thought about them.

Catch Me if You Can -
A very fun movie from director Steven Speilberg. Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hanks are great in this movie about the life of Frank Abignale Jr. It is based on the true story of a con man that made millions of dollars from forged cheques. The movie is sometimes slow paced but there are great moments, like a scene involving a fake stewardess contest. Not a great movie but a good one and one that is always fun. Also Cristopher Walken is in it, so that's always good. ***

Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers -
I don't remember there actually being two towers in this but there probably was. Even if there wasn't it was still a great movie. Very fun and lots of great action scenes. The best part of the movie is the dwarf played by the guy from the Indianna Jones' movies. He is very comical. Also good acting from Elija Wood and the other people. I didn't think it was as good as the first simply because they didn't seem to have accomplished much for 3 hours. Still great though. ***

Die Another Day -
This is a good film.  The action is exciting and the jokes are funny.  It is very entertaining.  Also Pierce Brosnan is a very good Bond.  He is not as good as George Lazenby but who could be?  The villian is very good.  He has an ice mansion.  It must be very uncomfortable to go to the bathroom but otherwise it would be really cool.  The henchman has diamonds in his face which looks cool.  It would suck to have diamonds in your face, diamonds are forever afterall.  That was a little joke, Diamonds are Forever is the name of another Bond film.  I give this movie three stars out of five. ***

Red Dragon -
This movie is very thrilling.  It is the second version of the first movie in the Hannibal Lector series.  This is much better than Hannibal, the last movie in the series but not as good as Silence of the Lambs.  Anthony Hopkins gives a great performance of Lector, a cannabalistic serial killer.  Edward Norton is very good as an FBI agent using Lector to help him catch a serial killer.  This may seem a lot like the first movie but keep in mind that this was written first.  I would have liked to see an appearance by the Clarice Starling character though.  Even though this movie takes place before Silence of the Lambs the writters could have probably fit in something about a worm hole or time machine.  Beisides that it is a very good movie.  I give this movie three stars out of five. ***

Austin Powers in Goldmember -
This movie is funny.  Mike Myers is good at humour.  One scene that is particularly funny is when a small midget named Mini Me gets in a fight with Austin.  The best part about the movie is the apearance of Fred Savage.  Ever since the cancellation of his sitcom Working I have been waiting for Fred's return.  Also Danny Devito of Batman Returns fame has a cameo.  His cameo is funnier than his role in Twins but not as funny as his role in Matilda.  I give this movie three stars out of five. ***
