Because I truly believe that no one will get tired of learning fun facts about Cathy!! This is one of the forwards that I'm sure you've all seen going around. This is how I answered the questions!

3.Hometown: Pipestone, MN
4.School: Pipestone High, Concordia College, University of Texas at Austin
5.Boxers or briefs? Um, I don't wear mens underwear!
6. Favorite Smell: Lilacs, rhubarb, both my grandparent's kitchens and home.
7.Bacon bits or croutons? I used to say both. But really, I'd rather eat a salad without either of them.
8.Favorite salad dressing: vinegar/oil on a Greek salad is heavenly.
9.Do you drink?: I love margaritas and white russians.
10. Favorite Board Game: Trivial Pursuit wins for alltime faves but I'm also hooked on Cranium.
11.Favorite shampoo/conditioner: Currently I have Herbal Essence, a Pantene knockoff, Finesse, Fructis, Dove, and some Bath & Body aromatheropy stuff. Can't have too many at one time, right??
12.Have you ever been skinny dipping?: Only once. No wait, twice.
13.Do you make fun of people?: Yes. Hey, some people are asking for it bigtime!
14.Favorite color: sky blue, lavendar and gray.
15.Have you ever been convicted of a crime? No... and
I want to keep it that way!
16.Best friends online/offline: Best friends are too hard to define. Erika and Diana are tied for first place!
17.Pets: When possible I'm a foster mother for the Humane Society so I take in little kittens and take good care of them until they're big enough to be put up for adoption.
18.Favorite movies: English Patient, Last of the Mohicans and Return to Me. And of course the LOTR trilogy.
19.Favorite type of music: I don't have a favorite genre but I like Sarah McLacklan, ATB, Faithless, Jack Johnson and Eliza Gilkyson to name a few.
20.Hobbies: Reading, watching TV, sleeping, hiking if I'm in the right location.
21. Dream car: Mercedes E Class in silver. But if I actually was going to buy one, I'd get the most fuel efficient car there is.
22. Type of car you drive: 2000 Chevy Prizm (it's silver!!)
23. If you could meet one person, who would it be? Everyone thinks I'm a freak but I'd like to meet Hitler to see if I could begin to understand how he came to gain so much power. I'd also like to go back and meet some of my ancestors.
24.Toothpaste: I like Crest with baking soda. It can't be gel or really minty.

26. Boyfriend/girlfriend: What, like in my
dreams? I'm a perpetually single person. The dateless wonder.
27. Favorite food: brownies win hands down.
28. Piercings or tattoos: four rings in my ears, one ring in my belly button and a tattoo on my lower back. I love body modifications but am running out of room that I care to have 'altered.'
29. Most romantic thing that ever happened to you: Dinner in a dimly lit restaurant with delicious food, excellent wine, and stellar company. After that we went for a walk on the beach with the moon hanging low and we kissed while sitting in the sand. It was sooo romantic!
30. Do you get along with your parents? Yes, fantastically. And I found out that they're always right too!
31. Favorite town to chill in: Athens; Minneapolis in the summer; Austin is awesome year round.
32. Favorite ice cream: Dastardly Mash and New York Super Fudge Chunk (both Ben and Jerry's)
33. Favorite soda pop: Root Beer
34. What's your bedtime?: Varies between 11pm-4am, depending on whether or not I have to get up in the morning!
35. Adidas, Nike, or Reebok: I don't believe in buying
expensive shoes. Target/Payless are our friends.
36. Favorite perfume/cologne: I don't wear perfume. But there's something so nice about walking past a guy that smalls good...
37. Favorite song at the moment: Jeff Buckley's Halleluiah
38. Favorite website: my own, I'm the first to admit it.
39. Favorite school subject: Art and History
40. Least favorite school subject: Math and Religion
41. Favorite sport to watch: Baseball.
42. Most embarrassing moment: Too many to choose from... I try to block them out of my mind. One time in Africa I was walking along when my sarong just fell right off. Mary and Melanie thought that was pretty funny.
43. Favorite holiday: 4th of July, no contest.
44. What do you look for in the opposite sex: Sense of
humor and he HAS to be a traveler (not necessarily an international one, I'll take what I can get!).
45. Favorite Book: Sheesh, that's a tough one. I love Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six, The Poisonwood Bible was excellent and The Alchemist really moved me.
46. Dream job: I wish I had the brains to be a forensic scientist. I'd also like to sell coconut drinks from a hut on a beach. Or be paid by the government to travel and be a better US representative as opposed to all the 'ugly Americans' out there.

48.Where do you live now? Southern Florida
49.Who do you live with? I live alone with my dust bunnies.
