I am a 30 year old,divorcing, mother of two beautiful daughters. My name is Tanya and I live in the state of Massachusetts. Most of my interests involve the slightest bit of danger..race cars...bungy jumping...and well spankins...lol...Most of you know most everything about me..but for those that dont..i was married for 9 years... and I am currently in the process of obtaining a divorce. My husband was and is physically abusive to me ...I am hoping to continue on with a happier life for myself and my children and with the help of my friends both on and off line i know that I can accomplish just that. I have a degree in Math. I have two cats named Shamus and Harley... Update....as of February 22, 2000, my husband ..the father of my children is now incarcerated in the House of Correction....awaiting trial for multiple charges ranging from assault and battery..stalking...malicious destruction of property...domestic assault...harassment...etc...with any luck he will finally get what is coming to him for all he has done to me and my children. Since their father now has no contact with them...my girls are doing wonderfully..better in school and they finally, for the first time in a long time can say they feel safe in their own home. My divorce will be coming quicker now that he is in prison. He now has no rights to contest the divorce which works on my behalf because he was fighting everything because he had these visions that we would be a family again...LIKE HELL!! again i would like to thank all that have supported me.. There are so many others that have helped me immensley....I LOVE YOU ALL DEARLY Update...August 12, 2000....As of this date, my husband, or soon to be ex is currently serving a term of home confinement for all the abuse he has caused me, personally i think his sentence is a bit lame but its nice to know he is now on a very very short leash.....My children are doing pretty well, they do see their father on occasion when he feels its convenient for him...we all know some things never change...since my last update I have gotten a new job and love it very much...I have made lots of wonderful friends and they are also supportive of my situation...I have become closer to some than others but nonetheless they all are wonderful....One person in particular in my life right now has helped me see that I am worth more than I ever thought....that person knows who they are and that person never fails to make me feel good about myself and think that I will in fact be a successful mother and human being....Big huge kisses to that one person...you know who you are..muahhhhhh
