Hello friends and family,
For those of you who have seen the documentary, STARTUP.COM, than you know it was well
worth the effort to go and see it. If you have not seen or even heard of this informative movie,
I am urging you to go and check it out. It is a very well put together documentary about the
life of govWorks.com [see logo below], a startup company founded in 1998 that just filed for
Chapter 11 early this year [Jan., 2001]. It deals with personal relationships, business issues,
life lessons, and all that good stuff. This movie is for all of us; those of us who are just
getting familiar with the e-commerce related markets and all those who have had any kind of
interest in the IT world, e-commerce world, busines world, or whatever you would like to call it.
I saw this movie in Berkeley last night [May 25th, 2001] at a theatre, I think on Shattuck Ave.
Any way, look it up. Here is a link that gives some screen shots and a nice trailer of the movie:
http://www.startupdotcom-themovie.com/ [Link is NO LONGER AVAILABLE]
"With millions of dollars at stake, Kaleil Isaza Tuzman
[CEO of govWorks] wrestles with the growing pains of a new
business and friendship in the fickle Internet community in
STARTUP.COM."
I must repeat in saying that this movie is very informative
and is a 'must-see-movie'!

Hello friends and family,
Okay folks! I know not all of you liked this movie, but I think it is a classic; definitely a classic
Jim Carrey movie. I laughed the whole way through and could not stop for weeks. There are so many
quotes I use from this movie now that I might as well pay royalties. I ended up buying this one on
DVD so that I can treasure it until I’m dead.
If you’re a true Jim Carrey buff than this movie is a must!
Now would you let Jim Carrey call you an asshole? Click on Jim Carrey to go to his Dumb and Dumber site. You can download a multitude of pictures, sounds, and movie clips there.
Or click on one of my few favorite sound bits from the movie to download them for your listening
pleasure; not to mention for some great laughs:

"...Bone her..." 95k
"...Listening..." 68k
Thanks for visiting,

Hello friends and family,
Have you ever worked in an office environment were:
- You dread to come into work each morning?
- Cubicle walls are your prison cell?
- Fax machines, computers, and other equipment don’t want to work right?
- Supervisors constantly threaten your job and tell you that you’re going to need to come in on
the weekend to catch up?
Well then…this is the movie for you.
Office Space brings an interesting perspective into our cubicle lives through the eyes of a young
man who out-of-the-blue just wants to give it all up and slack off, but then is approached by
management as the perfect candidate for the Boss’ job. “How ironic is that?”
Also, Jennefer Aniston co-stars as the disgruntled waitress who is sick and tired of having her job too...
Have fun,
Paul Davis
