Unity Sport Club in Columbus Ohio, Ethiopians and Ethiopian Americans have joined forces to bring the dream of a true club "home" to reality. Unity Sport Club is found to assist in providing an adequate soccer facility where youths and adults will find an environment that promotes health and fitness, both physically and mentally. Also help youngsters and teens develop their characters as resourceful and responsible members of our community by providing them with opportunities, through the game of soccer for social and leadership development as well as fair play and good sportsmanship. It is the desire of the Unity Soccer Club that this opportunity will be a home away from home for players of all ages and levels. This will create great avenues that foster friendship among the Ethiopian community in North America. Aid youngsters and teens academically and socially refine their natural abilities and also teach them their native languages to better communicate and understand the Ethiopian culture is the very first aim for club. This sport club has been promoted and developed the game of soccer, both indoor and outdoor within the Ethiopian community residing in the tri-state area.
