Dragon Information

This weyr is based solely on The Dragonriders of Pern series, copyright Anne McCaffrey. Therefore, we offer only one rare sport, a white, which can be both male and female, Impress both, and is very rare. This is the color information:

Golds-The largest dragon, and female. Can be Impressed only by females, and is the egg layer.

Bronzes- the second largest dragon, and male. Can be Impressed only by males, and usually fly the Golden Queens.

Browns- the third largest dragons, and males. Can be Impressed by males, and rarely females, and ARE able to fly the queens, though rarely.

Blues- the next to smallest dragon, and male. Can be Impressed by males and sometimes females. Fly only greens.

Greens-the smallest dragons and female. Can be Impressed by females and sometimes males. Do not usually lay eggs, as firestone makes them sterile.

Whites-really, really rare, but when they occur, they are the smallest dragons. White dragons can be both male and female, and can Impress either gender. Whites do not mate.

Male canidates can be from 12 to 20. Female canidates can be from 14 to 20.
