
|   I, Nathaniel Pinney of Windsor, being very sick and weak in body, but of present mind and memory, do make this my last will and testament:   I give to Elizabeth, my wife the use of all my land in Simsbury until my eldest son Darius comes to the age of 21 years, and the use of 1/3 during her natural life, and 1/3 part of movables forever.   I give to my eldest son Darius 20 pounds more than 1/2 of my land in the mile and 1/2 mile division in Windsor and 1/2 of all my land in Simsbury.   I give to my youngest son Filander the other half of the above sd. land, excluding the 20 pounds which my eldest son Darius shall have more, to him and his heirs forever.   Furthermore, that if either of my sons shall die before he comes to the age of 21 years, the other son shall have all his lands before mentioned, provided he shall, in the term of 6 years after he comes to the age of 21 years, pay each of my daughters in equal shares the price of land as it shall be inventoried, that is to say, he having an equal share with them.   Furthermore, my will is that all my lands in Barkhamsted and Colchester and Peller Hill shall be sold by my executrix hereafter named to pay my debts, and what remains more than to pay my debts be divided in equal shares amongst my daughters.   Also, I give the remainder of my estate in equal shares to my daughters, viz. to Martha Addams, to Ruhamma, to Lurana, to Elizabeth and to Sarah, to them and their heirs forever, excluding my buildings.   My will is that my sons Darius and Filander shall have an equal share of my house and barn.   I appoint my wife Elizabeth sole executrix. |

Inventory taken by Samuel Bemon, Jr. Gillett Adams and Lemuel Roberts.   Valued 880 pounds, 6 shillings, 6 pence.   Added to inventory 59 acres of land in Colchester, land bought of Thomas Crow in Colebrooke, and a right of 2 pounds, 6 shillings, in Barkhamsted. |
|   I, Joseph Pinney of Windsor, do make this my Last Will and Testament: I give to Jerusha, my wife, 1/3 part of my movable estate.   My will is that my house and homelott that I have bought of Mr. Dwite, which contains about 30 acres shall be sold at the discretion of my executors of my estate.   And after debts are well and truly paid, my will is that the remainder of my estate shall be disposed of in equal shares to my three sons, viz. Joseph, Nathaniel and John.   I likewise constitute my honoured father Nathaniel Pinney and Jerusha, my wife, executors. |

|   In the name of God Amen the 4th day of July 1780 I Abraham Pinney of Simsbury in the county of Hartford and state of Connecticut being in languishing and weak state of body but of sound mind and memory thanks to God therefor, and calling to to mind the mortality of my body and knowing it is appointed for all men once to die, do see cause to make this my Last Will and Testament.   And first of all I commit my soul to God in Christ and my body to earth to be buried in a Christian manner. |
| And as touching such worldly estate as it hath pleased God to give me in this life, after just debts sick bed expenses --- are paid I give and dispose in the following manner and form. |
| I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Rachael in lieu of her dower the use and improvement of one third part of my real estate during the term of her natural life and one third part of my personal estate that I shall die possessed of to be hers forever. |
| Item   I give and bequeath unto my five daughters the remainder of my movable estate to be equally divided unto them, not given to my said wife, that is the other two thirds that I shall die possessed of and thirty pounds apiece in lawful silver money to be paid equally by my sons Abraham, Jonathon, Aaron, Levi and Abner in the month after my death. |
| I give to my eldest son Abraham twenty acres of land lying in Colebrook in the county of Litchfield adjoining on Isaac Pinneys land in said Colebrook to him and his heirs forever. |
| Item   I give and bequeath the remainder of my Real Estate except the the above twenty acres to my sons Abraham, Jonathon, Aaron, Levi and Abner to them and their heirs forever. |
| And I do hereby nominate and appoint my sons Abraham and Jonathon to be my executors to this my Last Will and Testament.   In witness thereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the 4th day of July 1780. |
