  Samuel is mentioned in John Bissell's will dated 25Sep1673, where he mentions his daughter Joyce, wife of Samuel Pinney, and leaves her 30 pounds.   He is also listed in Mary Bissell Drakes will of 08Sep1689; "Samuel Pinney, my brother-in-law to get part of 50 pounds.   To my sister, Joyce Pinney, a share of my apparel".

  On 05Feb1668, Town of Windsor indebted to Nathanieel Pinney for 2 shillings for "sitting in the yard" (guard duty)...paid 12 pence in lieu of 1/2 pound of powder.   He was made freeman 09May1667 taking the oath 10Oct1667.   He is listed on the 1675 Tax List with a house and a horse.   On 04Sep1676, his estate was valued at 221 pounds, 18 shillings, 10 pence.   Sarah was named administrator for the estate of Samuel Phelps[5]

I, John Pinney of Windsor, being at present by the providence of God, called to goe unto the war, doe now make this my last Will and Testament; I doe give, devise and bequeath unto Abraham Phelps Jr. son of Lt. Abraham Phelps of Windsor my house or allottment on which it stands in Windsor, with all the appurtenances thereof, to be and remain to him, his heirs and assigns forever from and after the day of my decease.
I give and bequeath unto Jonathon Pinney, the son of my brother Isaac Pinney, my feather bed, trammell, and what else soever I have now in my said brother Isaac's house.   And I appoint my kinsman, Abraham Phelps Jr. to be my executor.

07Apr1722   Sarah exhibits an account of adm.   Accepted.   To Sarah 1/3 part of the realestate during her life.   To Isaac, eldest son, Jonathon, Humphrey, Daniel, Noah, Sarah and Hannah Pinney and Mary Gridley, children of the deceased, to each a single part of the estate.   Noah Pinney 18 years of age chose Israel Stoughton to be his guardian.
