The Sirius meets Alucard Joke Explanation: Alucard is Dracula and this is confirmed as of volume 8 of the manga. The Hellsing series appears to be based largely off of Francis Ford Coppola's "Bram Stoker's Dracula", which starred Gary Oldman as Dracula (the extent of the role of canon info from the original book in Hellsing is not known). Gary Oldman also plays Sirius Black in the Harry Potter movies. I also happen to draw Sirius and Alucard very similarly - unless of course it's Hellsing: the Dawn-era Alucard (Girlycard!), who looks like the evil pervy twin of Morgan from the Oh My Goddess movie, but that's a story for another day. But, yeah, it wasn't until I finally watched/read-and-instantly-got-addicted-to Hellsing that I realized I'd been drawing Sirius very similarly to Alucard. It creeped me out a bit.
