The Elder

Aramis looked at himself in a mirror.

"In reverse 21st century diet terms," Ace said,"You meraculously went from a 30 inch waist to a 34 inch waist"

Aramis stood straight in his new black pants. His seven inch high heeled boots gave him added dimension. He held the Sword of the Earth out to his side, his muscles flexed. Aramis smiled and sang:

Like a blade of a sword I am forged in flame
Fiery hot
Tempered steel fire-bright to the night I take
I fear not
Now compelled by something that I cannot see
I go forth surrendering to history

Aramis looked at the little glimmers of positive energy floating around the room.

Your glory, I swear I'll ride for thee
Your power, I trust it works with me
Your servant, I am and ever shall I be

.

Through a dream I have a come to an ancient door
Lost in the mist
I have been there a hundred times or more
Pounding my fists

.

Now inside, the fire of the ancient burns
A boy goes in and suddenly a man returns

The glimmers of positive energy run through his hair. He laughed.

Your glory, I swear I'll ride for thee
Your power, I trust it works with me
Your servant, I am and ever shall I be

Spot floats right up to Aramis. He smacked it gently. It floated backwards and made a funny computer sound. Ace laughed. Aramis looked at him.

I gave my word and gained a key
I gave my heart and set it free
There's no turning back from this odyssey
Because I feel so alive suddenly
And I wonder, is this really me?

Aramis swung the sword.

Like a blade of a sword I am forged in flame
Fiery hot
Tempered steel fire-bright to the night I take
I fear not

Aramis put the sword in the holder at his side.

Now compelled by something that I cannot see
I go forth surrendering to history

He raised his hands in the air and played with the positive energy.

Your glory, I swear I'll ride for thee
Your power, I trust it works with me
Your servant, I am and ever shall I be

Aramis looked at Ace. Ace laughed and said, "Now you are ready."

The low hum of Mr. Blackwell's music is heard...
