"Where are they at?" Ace asked.
"They have found the secret passage in the mountainside."
"Great," Ace replied. "They'll be in here any minute. Quickly, get the other children."
Pocky ran off to get the children.
"Gemini, give Aramis a sword."
The sword master stopped his worked on the sword and reached for a finished one.
"I can't take that," Aramis said. "I killed a skeletal warrior earlier and I didn't like it. I don't want to surrender to history, killing is a primitive act. I want to put that sort of thing behind."
Ace smiled. "I understand. This is for your self-defence. Don't worry about who this will make you. Everything that happens to you in life is a learning experience. You must live the way you were meant to be. If it is your destiny to kill, you must. You can't hide from who you really are. So rise up and gather your strength. Hold your head high and let yourself shine."
Aramis smiled. He reached out and took the sword from Gemini. Gemini handed another one to him.
"I need only one," Aramis replied.
"Sorry," Gemini replied. "I usually use two."

Suddenly there was a sreeching sound and little four foot demon creatures came running in from the far side of the room. There was a group of 18. They ran through the lava as if it were water.
Pocky and the children came into the room. Pocky raised his arms and rays of intense heat came from his hands. It hit a demon and it exploded.
Ace smiled at Pocky and raised his arms. Bolts of electricity came out and caught a group of five demons. They shook in the energy field until they all fried and fell.
Aramis opened his mouth, but this time nothing came out. "Opps," he said. A demon jumped right up on him. He flung the sword out and hit the creature. It's shielded body made a cling sound. Ace looked at him. "Go for the neck. It's the only unprotected part of the body." A demon jumped on Ace's back and started to ride him like a child would. Aramis started to come and help him. The other demon in front of him blocked the way. His reflex action came in and out came the blue flame. The demon froze solid and fell to the ground. Aramis knocked it out of the way and ran toward Ace. He grabbed the demon by his short hair and pulled him off of Ace. The upset demon fell to the ground.
Ace looked at the Fire of the Ancients. There were six demons by it. Two of them were attacking Gemini. He fought back with a sword in each hand. "They're after the Fire of the Ancients," Ace shouted. Ace aimed and fire electrical bolts at the demons. One of them held up a shield of negativity. The sheild deflected the bolt and the bolt hit the ceiling behind him. The roof became crumbling. Huge chunks of rock began to fall. They came flying down on the children. A rock hit Pocky in the head and knocked him unconscious. "Pocky!" Aramis shouted. A demon jumped in his way. Aramis swung his sword down with strength. The demon's head feel to the ground. A group of six more demons got in his path. Aramis was upset and wanted them out of the way. He opened his mouth and blue flame came out. A demon raised their shield. The flame was reflected back. It hit Aramis sword and froze it. Aramis dropped it before it froze his hand.
Ace used his Psionic energy and flew through the air. He kicked all six demons in the head as he flew passed. They fell to the ground unconscious.
Ace landed next to the children and made a protective shield of energy. He raised his arms and zapped the ceiling. The rocks were mended and stopped falling. He looked at Gemini. Gemini had killed the other demons. Ace stopped the shield and moved it around the unconscious demons. The shield's energy destroyed them.
All the children were safe except Pocky.
