"I would like you to meet Magnus and Belatrix," he said. "They are the best. Magnus has been tracking MegaDestruction for sometime now. He knows his weaknesses."
Aramis shook his hand. Magnus smiled and crossed his eyes. Aramis didn't know how to respond.
"He's also playful," Morpheus said. He motioned to Beletrix, "Belatrix is good at shapeshifting and necromancy. She also has a good hand with that spear of hers."
Aramis shook her hand. She smiled gently and bowed her head.
Morpheus stared at him.
"What?" Aramis asked.
"Why do you think Mr. Blackwell had your lover taken?"
"Well... I don't know."
"Have you ever noticed you can predict what people do before they do it? Have you ever noticed you are abnormally strong? Have you noticed you can move objects with your mind?"
Aramis frowned. "So, can't everybody do that?"
"No," Morpheus smiled, "and that is why Mr. Blackwell has taken Michelle. It is a trap for you. You have supernatural power that can stop him."
"Well, doesn't The Elder have this power?"
"Yes and no, it would sort of be hard to explain to a mortal. We in the Elder only exist in the image of a human. We have never been real humans so we don't have the kind of human purity you do. You have innocence. We are beyond what is moral by human standards."
Aramis smiled and said, "Oh." Not really understanding.
Morpheus continued. "Mr. Blackwell has been around longer than The Elder yet does not understand your purity. He only wishes to destroy such goodness that would stand in its way."
Aramis backed away frustrated. "But I'm just a boy."
Aramis began to sing.
Aramis walked to the edge of the deck and looked out at the rising moon on the horizon. Dark rain clouds passed by it. The wind blew gently through his hair. Suddenly it began to rain down warm gentle rain. Aramis turned back around and sang...
Lightening flashed
The rain began to pour down.
Morpheus smiled, "I understand. You are more than that, and you will realize it soon I feel."
Aramis smiled back. "Maybe you're right."
"We'll discuss this more tomorrow," Morpheus replied. "Everybody lets get out of this rain and rest for the night."
Everybody disperced to their sleeping quarters.
