January 12, 2001---Dr. visit today. Weighed in and have lost 2 lbs meaning I have an overall weight gain of 1 lb at 15 wks 2 days of pregnancy. I am so proud of myself for that! Trying to keep it at 20 lbs or less. We finally heard the baby's heartbeat today!!!! It was shocking! We expected to hear a fast heartbeat but it was slow! It was nothing like my 2 daughters heartbeats, which were fast and rhythmic. This babys heartbeat was a beat then a pause and not quite so fast as I'd expected. Dr. said it sounded good and shouldn't have anything to worry about at this time. I'm really thinking I might have my little boy inside me now. I really hope so!

January 29, 2001---Tonight I finally started making this page. I am going to be putting some pictures and my thoughts on this pregnancy also. Right now I am going through a lot of emotions. Seems I cry at the drop of a pin, which I didn't do with my daughters when I was pregnant with them. Everything about this pregnancy is so different from them. It's been almost 8 years since I gave birth and everything is new to me again. It's definitely like starting over again. I am happy about this baby and so are the girls. Carrie (my oldest) seems to be more excited than Sarah (my youngest). Sarah seems really jealous. I hope she'll get over it soon.
