Baby Think It Over was a unit we did in my parenting class. It involves this computerized "doll". Our class has boy and a girl. These baby "dolls" are programed with computer chips and sensors. They can tell if the baby is being neglected, held wrong, head not supported, shaken etc. Mothers kept Journals of their REAL newborn babies, and the Baby Think It Over Babies are set on to the timetables of those babies, ranging in age from eight days to about three months. You have to Feed, clothe, rock, burp and change diapers, at any hour of the day/night. The computer chips records if you neglect to do any of this. When the baby cries (it's a recording of a real baby crying)you have to determine what's wrong with him. It can tell how long the baby has cried, if he was left without a diaper, or if it was left with a dirty diaper on (no, they don't REALLY go to the washroom). The diapers and bottle have chips in them as well. If you have any questions about BTIO e-mail me at maneater1_2_3@hotmail.com
