Right before Jesus died He showed us what kind of preoccupation or good deeds would be most advantageous... And as the Christian world tries to hail each of their causes, demanding our attentions, Jesus is quietly reaching for towels & washing people's feet.
Do you enjoy preaching? teaching? singing? Perhaps you are charged about some other endeavor. But Jesus won't be as excited about it unless He sees you practicing servanthood. He said where my servant is, there I am also.
Be careful that you don't substitute anything for being His servant. Take inventory now to identify what you are involved in. Have you placed it above servanthood? A servant is not above his Master.
