Continuing the good news..."Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light."-Colossians 1:12
The word "meet" is not referring to "meat" in which you sprinkle tenderizer on, although God has made us tender towards Him, so it would apply. But it does mean that we have been made to be up to par with God's standards. Thank you God! You made us 100% qualified to share in the inheritance! We've been given the gift of God (Romans 6:23). Jesus is the gift of righteousness. The Christian life is not a striving- it is a reflection of Christ's finished work!!!
