In order to hopefully help us all out a bit and to reassure us that we have not lost all touch with reality I present to you
1) When you decide to indulge in a bowl of cold cereal and milk - remember, the milk goes into the refrigerator and NOT the cabinets or cupboard when you are thru.
2) When your children or spouse does not respond to you repeatedly calling "their" name - remember- your children or spouse are the 2 legged creatures wandering in your home and not the 4 legged ones!! They do have different names. Calling 'Hey Rover" over and over will not usually be the way to call the child or spouse.
3) When filling a potpouri pot - remember that the water does NOT go into the part with the holes!
4) When you take a young child into a store with you - make sure they are still with you when you leave!!
5) When using a coffee maker to make your morning coffee, remember to put the pot in place BEFORE you pour in the water and turn the machine on!!
6) When you leave the house in the morning to go to school, work or run errands - remember to take your pajama bottoms and slippers OFF before you throw on your coat and walk out the door!!
7) When returning home exhausted and in pain after grocery shopping, remember to atleast put the frozen and parishable foods away BEFORE you take a nap!!
8) When feeding small household pets, remember to SHUT their cages or tanks before leaving the house!!
9) When picking up a glass of your favorite drink, remember it tastes better AFTER you actually pour it into the glass!!
10) When calling a friend to ask a favor, remember that if you are calling them, it is usually YOU who is supposed to know what you called to ask THEM.
11) When making pasta, remember to put the water into the pot to boil BEFORE you put the stove on, set the pot on the burner, and walk away waiting for the water to boil!!
12) After washing your hands, remember to shut the water off BEFORE leaving the room! GEE, WHO EVER SAID LIFE WAS EASY?????
