Here it is folks! In all its glory.:) Play with it how you like and if you do happen to like it...*grins* send me an e-mail and tell me ok? Also if you do decide to use it you may link to my page. I won't mind.;)
Thanks!

  1. Open two graphic images, both 500 x 300 (or whatever size suits your fancy but they must both be the same size.), one with a transparent background, the other with a white background. The one we will be working on first is the one with the white background. Foreground color: White Background Color: Med. Gray (R:128, G:128, B:128,)
  2. Drop your text, (I used Wide Latin, Size 44 Bold) Floating and Anti-alias checked.
  3. Then add noise to the text. (Image|Noise|Add) Random 25%
  4. Next is a motion blur. (Image|Blur|Motion Blur) Direction: 40 Intensity: 33
  5. Make sure white is still the foreground color and the apply a Hot Wax Coating (Image|Effects|Hot Wax Coating)
  6. The next step is to colorize it. (Color|Colorize) Hue: 30 Saturation: 195
  7. Then add a cutout for good measure.;) (Image|Effects|Cutout) Fill Interior: unchecked Shadow color: white Opacity: 100 Blur: 0.8 Offsets: 3, 3
  8. Then we solarize it. (Make sure the text is still selected. If it isn't....ya gotta start aaaalll over.) (Color|Solarize) Threshold: 224 Yeah, yeah I know it looks crazy, but just bear with me ok?
  9. Another motion blur is in order. Repeat step #4 except two minor details. Direction: 0 Intensity: 12
  10. Then we colorize it again repeating step #6 exactly.
  11. Now it needs to be lightened for just the right effect!. (Colors|Adjust|Brightness/Contrast) Brightness: 28 Contrast: 25
  12. For the next step the selection must be inverted. (Selections|Invert)
  13. Then we chisel it. (Image|Effects|Chisel) Size: 25 Transparent: checked
  14. Invert.
  15. Then adjust it again. (You can adjust this as you like. I'm just suggesting a "happy medium":)(Color|Adjust|Brightness/Contrast) Brightness:12 Contrast: 30 Ah, now it’s beginning to look more like it should eh? Nope, not done yet!
  16. Now copy it. (Ctrl+C)
  17. Switch over to the other image we opened in the beginning with the transparent background and create two more layers on it. First, double-click on "Layer 1" and rename it to "Background". Now make the second new layer naming it "Text". Create the last new layer and name it "Shadow".
  18. Select the "Background" layer and fill it with a background color/texture of your choice.
  19. Then select the "Text" layer and paste the text as a new selection. (Edit|Paste|As New Selection)(Ctrl+E) Place it where you want it, keeping it selected.
  20. Now select the "Shadow" layer and add a drop shadow of your choice depending on the lightness/darkness of your background color. (Image|Effects|Drop Shadow) Black for light backgrounds. White for dark backgrounds. Opacity: 100 Blur: 8.9 Offset: Vertical: -2, Horizontal: 2
  21. Deselect the text and save the image.
  22. Save it as a PSP file just in case you want to tweak it sometime, then duplicate the image (Window|Duplicate) and select the duplicate, then Save As (File|Save As) a JPG.
  23. And that’s it! Your done! There are so many things that could be done with this just mess around and have fun! You might even find a new effect for yourself like I did! Enjoy!

One more quick thing, I need to give some credit to PSP Tips section for the original idea (3D Brushed Text) that I expounded on.
