First and foremost is Mercedes, a German Shepherd/Wolf Hybred. She is about 8 yrs. old and getting older (lol don't we all?), but a great dog nonetheless! If she were a full Shepherd, she would be a black/tan. But since she has the Wolf in her, she tends to be a little silver...(and it's not just because of her age.;) It is like silver overlaid with black. Beautiful!
Knute (pronounced noot)another German Shepherd/mix. I don't really think he had much of anything else besides Shepherd, but I don't know for sure. He was black/cream and very big! He was handsome huh?
Yes I speak of him in past tense, he died on Aug. 11 '00. What we believe killed him was a mixture of heartworms and heat. There was no warning, he seemed healthy as could be, but when I woke of that morning he was dead, just like that. The night before he'd been bouncing around like Tigger (he always did that) and acting perfectly normal...*sigh*
All I can say is have your dogs checked for heartworms...it may save their lives.
Knute
Even though he's no longer with us I may just leave him on this page...or perhaps make him a tribute page, so keep checking in.
We have 3 cats, one of which is mine. He (Spooky) is a short-haired pitch black sweetheart!! I just got him a few days ago so when I can get the pics developed I sure will put one up!
Now Pudge is my Moms' cat. He is as you can see by the pic, rather large. Quite a hunter, but very gentle to us and sweet in his own masculine way.;)
Big Boy is a creamola tabby, and a pretty good size too although nowhere near as big as Pudge! He is more thick, like his fur is almost wooly giving him a puffy look.:)
The other two dogs that were on here have been adopted to good homes so I took them off...when I get a new puppy I will put it here...I never could handle having just one dog, always wanted two. And poor Mercedes is so forlorn and heartbroken, she misses Knute too, I think the both of us need a puppy...
