Want to make a website? Resources for Newbies

You've had the idea of making a website, Sailormoon, Anime, or whatever, for whatever reason you have. Well, here I have a bunch of Resources to help you get started. First thing you should look for is a webserver to host your website on. Below I have listed some free website providers.

Free Homepage Providers

Angelfire (My personal favorite)
The Express Page (Kinda confuesing at first)
Yahoo! Geocities (Very popular)
IceStorm.com (Last I checked it was free, but I think if you want more space you have to pay)
Sailormoon.com (Yes, you can build webpages off this provider)
Homestead.com (Don't know much about them)

Next are websites that have guestbooks, chatrooms, etc. for you to use on your website.

Freepolls.com (more than just polls)
Amanda's Castle (Just visit it!! ^_^)
Freevote.com (Free vote boards)
Guestforum.com (Free message boards)

Crecendo's homepage (Important if you want music on your webpage)

And finally, if you want to make a Sailormoon website here are some great places where you can get backgrounds, banners, icons, and many other things. Some of these even have HTML help. (Oh, and be sure to credit all the websites you use by putting their banner/link somewhere on your website, because these people put a lot of work into every last image on their page.)
