The primary colors of red, yellow, and blue are the foundation from which all other colors are developed. In the same way, the teachings given in Primary are the foundationon which children build strong testimonies of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ.
- I will remember my baptismal covenants and listen to the Holy Ghost.
- I will be honest with Heavenly Father, others, and myself.
- I will seek good friends and treat others kindly.
- I will dress modestly to show respect for Heavenly Father and myself.
- I will only read and watch things that are pleasing to Heavenly Father.
- I will only listen to music that is pleasing to Heavenly Father.
- I will use the names of Heavenly Father and Jesus reverently. I will not swear or use crude words.
- I will keep my mind and body sacred and pure, and I will not partake of things that are harmful to me.
- I will do those things on the Sabbath that will help me feel close to Heavenly Father.
- I will chose the right. I know I can repent when I make a mistake.
- I will live now to be worthy to go to the temple and serve a mission. I will follow Heavenly Father's plan for me.

Choose an experience in
one of the four general areas.
Discuss your choice with
your parents of your Primary teacher.
Write your goal.
Work on your goal by yourself r with your family, friends, or Primary class.
Record the date when you
have accomplished your goal.
Share what you have done
with your parents (or some other family member. Have them sign your card.
Share what you have done
with your teacher, and have your teacher sign your card.
Follow the same steps to complete one experience in each of the four areas. In addition, complete the Articles of Faith requirement. Then your teacher will make an appointment for you to tell the Primary president what you have done. The Primary president will tell you when you will receive the Gospel in Action Award.
Choose one of the following goals, or choose another goal of your own in this area. Work on it for two months.
- Improve in living a gospel principle.
- Develop a personal talent, and share it with someone.
- List ways you can become a better friend, and practice some of them.
Do one of the following, or choose another goal of your own in this area.
- Complete a personal pedigree chart that includes your grandparents, and give as much information about them as you can.
- Keep a personal journal for at least three months.
- Plan and carry out an activity with your family.
Do one of the following, or choose another goal of your own in this area.
- Read the scriptures daily for at least one month.
- Choose and present a way to share your feelings about the scriptures.
- Have personal prayer daily for at least one month.
Plan and complete an individual, family, or class service project.
Repeat and explain the meaning of the thirteen Articles of Faith.
