Winter
Winter is when the white snow falls,
Winter is when Jack Frost Calls.
Winter is when love fills the air,
Winter is when the trees stand bare.
Winter is when the air is biting cold,
Winter is when the bear sleeps untold.
Winter is when the water stands still,
Winter is when the hunters kill.
Winter is when the sky turns gray,
Winter is when kids begin to play.
Winter is when the fireplace is lit,
Winter is when our toes get frost bit’.
Winter is when the ducks fly south,
Winter is when you can see the air from the mouth.
Winter is over,
Spring is here.
We won’t feel that pleasure again until next year.
