Life With Braces
Ok, to start this thing off, everyone hates braces. Or at least we think. I, Grayden, have braces my self. They arn't bad, at all! You can choose different colored braces, and all kinds of neat stuff. When you get your mouth mold, you can choose the flavor. I think its cool because you get to have everything like YOU want it. I interviewed some pals and this is what they said! "Braces? Who said anything about bad? They may make your teeth sore, but a healty smile is worth it all!";"Braces are importnat, you gotta keep 'em clen, but I have fun getting the brackets all shinny!". So, I agree with all these! Here are some VOCABULARY WORDS:
Bracket-The shinny metal things on each tooth, except the molars.
Quickstick-The colored things you can choose to go on each bracket & hold on the wire.
Wire-The string that connects all the brackets.
Rubber Bands-The Things that correct your overbite, underbite, or cross-bite.
Chain-Are connected quicksticks that PULL your gaps togather within 1 or 2 days!
Mold-Is taken before you get your braces on to show your WHOLE MOUTH. SOme otho's actually put braces on them to show the patient what they will be doing.
Cap-Glued to the molars to sinch the wire & hold it.
