What is a Teacup Poodle?
Teacup is a term breeders use to describe very small poodles, which usually weigh under four pounds. American Kennel Club recognize Standard, Minature, and Toy Poodle sizes only. Any other size description is strictly breeder terminology. Our teacups average from 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 pounds when full grown.
We breed and raise quality Teacup and Tiny Toy Poodles.
There is a rumor that the smaller poodles have many health problems. However we have not encountered this with our poodles. We have bred poodles for many years and only do selective breeding to improve the quality of the breed, coat, personality, trainability and confirmation for size. All of our babies know that they are special. They are held and loved every day and most of them think they are the master and we should do their bidding.
