Special inhabitants

This page is to describe to you the Shada, Shape-shifters, and Fairy Folk. Fairy Folk were not included in the Humanoids section because they are so small, and unlike most humanoids they all have pretty much the same personality.

The Shada

The Shada are like inteligent wolves, but they have the ability to shape shift into human form. When they shape shift, their fur becomes their clothing and hair, and their hair is the same color as their fur and in most cases the clothing is the same color as their fur as well. They are as smart as humans and come in any colors or exagerations of colors that a wolf has. The Shada are very protective of their clan, or pack and most all will die for one of their clanmates. As in a wolf pack, the Shada have and alfa male and female, who are the leaders of the clan. If a group of Shada is seen in human form it is called a clan, and in wolf form it is a pack.

Shape-shifters

Shape-shifters are just what they sound like, they can change shape at will. All shape-shifters have a prefered shape, the organism they most enjoy being and are usually seen in that way(when you fill out the form and you wish to be a shape-shifter, please tell me your prefered shape). Most shape-shifters are not in the habit of telling people what they are, because it tends to upset them. They are mostly loners and have to find others of their kind to have children, usually the two shape-shifters have the same prefered shape and mate as the rituals of that organism requires. Some young shape-shifters like experimenting with oddeties, like a human with bright pink eyes or a blue-flamed phenix. There are some rare cases in which a shape-shifter will mate with a non-shape-shifter to create a halfling shifter. These halflings are usually born as humans and have the ability to shape-shift into up to four other animals or humanoid species, but halflings do not learn to shape-shift unless they are tutored by their parent (either male or female) shape-shifter, and it must be their genetic mother or father, or else the halfling will never learn what he/she should be trying to shape-shift into. Somehow, the parents know.

Fairy Folk

The fairy folk not only include the fairies, but the sprites and what are commonly called the little people. Most all fairy folk are mischeiveous and tend to get into lots of trouble, especially the sprites and the little people. The little people are like Leprichauns, but without all the pot of gold stuff. they are like miniature elves and live in secret grottos or trees. The fairies are extremely swift in their flight and most are interested in studies about other races. It is extremely hard to find anything to trade the fairy for his work, but usually they will work to be taught anything you can teach them. The sprites are about the size of ahuman child when they are fully grown, they sometimes have wings and are very good at handling magic. It is extremely rare to see any of the fairy folk as a warrior, as they do not like the idea of violence. They believe that good practical jokes are the only way to get revenge.
