Harold A. Welch was born on May 25th, 1932. He was one of 13 children. My parents met in their teenage years, they were married on April 20th, 1957. Dad was a hard worker and took care of his family as best he could. When I was a small child I remember my dad working for Esso gas station on the Maine Turnpike. He lost his license to drive when I was still young. He had a disease in his eyes that made it hard for hime to see things at a close range. He then opened his own garage on the back part of my parents house lot. He enjoyed woodworking, hunting, fishing, and gardening.
