I dedicate this Page to my loving Parents who passed away to soon.I miss them very much.
Mom
She always made sure that all the 9 Kids, had enough food clothing and a good education. She was a very talented person. She made most of our clothes and always had a project going. Our home was always busy with canning gardening and tryng to keep us all busy. She was a girl scout leader, brownie leader, What ever was needed she was always there for us.
Family Prayer
Guide us as we move through life, and grow individualy, yet together. Fill our hearts with love, and give us the ability to express it to one another.
Help us turn to each other for strength and touch our lives with understanding. Lead us through times of trouble, and give to us the strength to do as needed. Help us to earn each other's trust, and give us the ability to forgive when hurt. Let us share our smiles and sorrows, to care and give unselfishly. We in turn shall do our best to live our lives as Family.
Dad
He was alway trying to teach us the right way of doing things. Starting with school and thru out our lives. He only had a third grade education, but he taught himself thru books on subjects that he was interested in.If he did not have the answer he found it, and in doing so not only showed us but became very knowlageable, and was very good at math. Even thought he only had two boys and seven girls it did not stop him to teach us girls the fine art of fishing, hunting, camping. All of us loved to get in the car and explore this great world of ours. I would like to dedicate this poem to my Dad.
Farther On
Farther on, How much farther? Lord, I miss him, Since he's gone Seems I still can hear Daddy tell me, "It'll be better in my new home."
I recall, the day daddy left us left all his children,so alone, on the night before that God called him. He said, "Im ready now for my new home"
I recall the words he told us as he lay on his deathbed. He said if you want to be with me you'll have to change your way.
Farther on, How much farther? Lord, I miss him, Since he's gone Seems I still can hear Daddy tell me, "It'll be better in my new home."
