10/6/08: Macomber 8 shaft 48" weave width, 10 treadles, double warp beams, one plain, one sectional, new aprons, can be upgraded to 8H. Footrest and storage. Very durable Macomber loom, can create fine and heavy weaves. Very nice working condition, wood is in great shape. Needs a new back crank handle ($40 from Macomber) I use a household tool and it works fine. Lots of heddles and extra superhooks. Great price for such a workhorse. 10/1/08: 8H, 50” Norwood Loom in Cherry. 14 treadles, castle, bench, trailer with 2nd warp beam, 2 reeds. This is a lovely loom that has served me well. A shoulder injury is preventing my weaving at 50”. $2000. I live on Nantucket Island, you pick up or arrange shipping. The ferry round trip is about $350. Email Miki
9/26/08: Gilmore floor loom with 8 harnesses, 10 treadles. 47" weaving width, includes reed, shuttle, heddles, sectional warp beam. One of the first looms made by Mr. Gilmore in the 1930's and works great. Email for an appointment to see and try it out. New price for a Gilmore loom of this type and size would be $2,767. 9/20/08: Old Newcomb Weaver's Friend, very rare, is taking up half my living room and husband says, move it out. Shipping it would be very difficult as the metal pipes are very long but you can come pick it up from southeast Colorado. It was fun and special but maybe you have more room than I do as we recently downsized into a smaller home. only $200. I even have the certification and the history of it from Newcomb. Email Linda
9/8/08:45" Nilus LeClerc Tissart Tapestry Loom. This very popular 2 harness, vertical tapestry loom is no longer made. Treadles operate the harness' so that both hands are free. Includes large eye wire heddles and 6 dent reed. The reed has some rust, but it is very usable. The loom is unassembled at the moment, so I am including a picture of a friend's loom that is the exact same loom in very comparable condition. I am willing to reassemble the loom so that you can come and look at it. I am also willing to ship it if necessary. $800. 443-744-1490. Email Rose
9/8/08:Leclerc MIRA II older but a great weaver! Counter-balance 45" width, 4H, 6T. Located in Southern Vermont. Would prefer not to ship but will travel up to 75 miles to deliver. Comes with one 10-dent reed. This is a wonderful treadling loom with a long history. There was some mouse knawing on the front legs but I have sanded and cleaned her up. I salvaged her from a dirt floor shed where she slept for 10 years. Only reason I have to pass her to someone else that can appreciate her charm is because of arthritis. Asking $400. Email Patricia

8/29/08: I have a quil wheel for sale. It looks like a penguin wheel. It works like a great wheel, but it is small and easy store and travel with. It is a great little wheel in great condition. 8/27/08: 40” 8H, 10T Fireside Jack Loom: Oak wood, 1 reed, 750 inserted eye heddles, cloth tensioning system uses ratchet/pawl, friction brake, canvas straps on cloth beam, 2/3 yard warping beam, 1 pair lease sticks, 1 pair tie-on sticks. Built in 1978. Bench: 42” hinged top bench with 3 storage compartments made of oak wood. Accessories: warping board, 2 shuttles and extra sticks. Fireside Looms are custom-built and are known for their furniture-quality finish, sturdy design for both delicate fabric and rug weaving, smooth treadling and large shed. 8/19/08: Now that I have purchased a 60" loom, I need to sell my Schacht 8 shaft, 12 treadle floor loom. It is a maple loom, 46" weaving width, high castle model. Four shafts are currently on the loom and a brand new, unused 4-later kit is included. The loom has 12 treadles, many stainless steel flat heddles and a 12 dent reed.The loom is in excellent barely used condition. A new loom of this configuration would cost around $4200 with the many extra heddles. Asking $3000. Located in southern NJ, near Philadelphia and Wilmington, DE. Email Gail

7/24/08: 47" 8-shaft Varpapuu loom: 8H, 8T, 800+ cotton string heddles, matching bench, homemade wooden raddle, a pair of lease sticks, 11 warp sticks, shaft holders, all tie-up updated to texsolv. Underslang beater. 3 reeds: 10, 15 and 18 dents. Put together by wedges, except for the castle, which is bolted. Asking for $1300. I bought the loom a couple of years ago "new". It was still in boxes, but they were stored for quite some time, I was told. There are a few minor cosmetic flaws, but overall it's in a beautiful shape. The loom has space for 4 more shafts and treadles, but Varpapuu looms are no longer in production, so you'll have to copy the existing ones to make them yourself. 7/18/08: TABLE LOOM by Dundas Loom Company (now Montana Loom), also folds (warped) for workshops. This is 25" weaving width with 8 harness. Includes lease sticks, 12-dent stainless reed and Texsolv headles. Very sturdy tabletop loom from cherry. I used it when I was a beginner to learn to weave and decide if I wanted to invest in a floor loom. I kept table loom to use for designing and samples. Now I am having to downsize. Like new condition. New price is $805. I am asking $400. Can be shipped. It is located in Central California area. Email
7/11/08: Two Harness 45" Rio Grande Style 'walking loom' custom made by Marco Oviedo of Chimayo, New Mexico. The loom is made from Alder wood and is very sturdy.
