2/6/12: Norwood cherry wood 30" weaving width folding jack loom, 8H, 10 treadles. One treadle was damaged and has been repaired, I use it on the outside for tabby. The other treadles are all fine. Includes about 800 heddles flat steel heddles (no rust), texsolv tie-up cords, one reed. Shuttles and bobbins are not included with this loom. Great condition and a great loom if you're a new weaver or advanced. I have woven scores of towels and scarves, shawls, fabric plus small items like book marks and it works great. 1/14/12: I am selling my Oregon Trail or "Walling" Loom. It is a 4 harness, 6 treadle jack loom. It is in cherry and is in near perfect condition. I bought it from a weaver who was the original purchaser. It is very sturdy and I wove mostly rugs on it. It comes with a custom made oak bench and all accessories needed. It is currently disassembled for easy transport, but I will demonstrate how to properly put it together for a prospective buyer. (It's really very easy) The loom comes with everything you need to weave at the highest levels. I have many shuttles of varying sizes, all in great shape. I will include a warping board and two extra hand looms for making samples. I have a very nice swedish bobbin that was $100 on it's own. There is too much to list, but I can assure you, you will require nothing else to weave anything you desire. I also have a TON of yard and wool that will come with it if the buyer is interested. I have very nice heavy rug warp that was expensive, a lot of washed and unwashed mohair, some roving, as well as many many spools of wool in varying colors and staples. Also BOOKS! I taught myself how to weave with these and they are very helpful. I hate to sell this but a new job and new home require all my time and I haven't used it for over a year now. 1/8/12: A versatile early GILMORE JACK LOOM for weaving garments, blankets or rugs. Little effort is needed to pack the weft threads because the beater swings from the bottom. Easy for one person to warp by themselves. This loom is strong, well made from eastern maple and will come apart and fold to fit through doorways. 8 harnesses, 12 treadles, approx 45" wide. 12/14/11: Norwood Cherry 40-inch Floor Loom. About 20 year old but only used once by my mom. Includes a 36" cherry bench. It looks like a mess in the picture because I have a rope holding it together for moving & the last project is still on it but it REALLY is in very good shape. All the parts are available but not shown since I really don't know how to assemble it. All the wires are straight & there are no cracks in any of the wood. This is a well made loom.
