The band was formed in 1982 when Mike Tramp leaves Denmark for going to the USA and meets Vito (ex 'Dreamer').
Together they start White Lion and with the talents of James and Greg (ex 'Anthrax') they make the great albums 'Pride'& 'Big game' with the hitsingles 'Wait' and 'Cry for freedom'.
On 'Fight to survive' the first album they started with a rough sound wich is also heard in the last "Mane Attraction" album.
Later James and Greg leave the band and the news is spread that White lion is history...
Mike starts a new band called 'Freak of nature' and the first album is a succes and they even tour through Europe before making their second album 'Gathering of freaks' which doesn't hit the charts and the band falls apart after the tour in 1995.
In '96 Mike makes a soloalbum (Capricorn) and James is asked by Zakk Wylde to play on his 'Pride & Glory'. Also Vito was working on a soloalbum but it never was released
Mike is busy with his solo career and released several albums, in another style then wl but worth checking out
In October the news is unoficially spread that White Lion will reunite and play again in 2004!
