This is my prized stallion, Glory Bound. He has mastery of three disciplines, including racing, dressage and jumping. In Glory's first race, he was the even money favorite and with a gallant effort, earned a close second. Then, in his second race, Glory patiently waited behind the leaders before jumping ahead to win in the final yards. Glory is a real trier no matter what he's faced with. He's definitley a barn favorite; people are always stopping by to say hello. Even though many people believe ex-racers cannot make good dressage horses, they obviously have never met Glory Bound. When Glory enters the ring, the crowd gasps as he dances down center line. He acts as if the whole worlds attention is focused on him. And sometimes he's right! Glory Bound is definitley making a mark for himself is the dressage world. In his first show, Glory Bound was named Training Level Champion!
Although I never planned on training Glory Bound to jump, after a free jumping inccident (no one was hurt, only very surprised), I decided to give him a chance. Glory Bound can now clear four feet without a rider and three feet under saddle. I don't usually enter him in show jumping competitions though he has the talent to do well.
Glory Bound brings charm, poise, and world class athleticism to breeding programs world wide. He is a stallion of extraodinary talent, both for jumping and dressage. His clearly suspended and elevated movement remains fluid and supple at all times. His powerful gait is generated by an active hind leg with a quality of flexion and engagement that is not often found. Glory Bound offers the gaits, temperment and athleticism of a champion.
