Ready or not Branson, Missouri...Here we come!!!
I have compiled a
few links for the Branson area
to help you get ready for the year 2000
Chat Meet.
We will be staying at the Classic Motor Inn. You can get to their
website by clicking on their logo below or just give them a call at 1-800-334-6991 to make reservations.
They have 30 rooms blocked for the Yahoo Chat Meet at a special rate on a
first come, first serve basis. Rooms are $35.00 a night plus tax. We had
the meet there last year and the accomodations were nice and the staff
wonderful.
BE SURE TO TELL THEM YOU ARE MAKING RESERVATIONS FOR THE
YAHOO CHAT MEET TO GET THIS SPECIAL RATE. WE ALSO NEED YOU TO GIVE THEM
YOUR CHAT NAME WHEN YOU REGISTER. IF YOU HAVE ALREADY MADE YOUR
RESERVATIONS AND DID NOT TELL THEM YOUR CHAT NAME, PLEASE CALL BACK AND DO
SO NOW.
Some will be arriving on Thursday, April 28th. There will be
a
"Goddess"
there to register
you for the meet when you arrive.
We will have name tags for each
person.
Friday will be just a "visit and get settled" day. Saturday we will all
gather in the conference room to have a get together. We are going to try
to schedule some meals as a group at one of the local buffet type
restaurants, but you are all free to dine where you wish. The links below
will give you a general idea of the restaurants in the area.
As you all know, Branson is FULL of great shows. I have a few links to
the show sites where you can get tickets. You can call the phone numbers
on those sites and find out when reservations are being made for the 2000
season. Last year some of us went to see Andy Williams. I have been to
Branson 7 times and his show was by far the finest production I have seen.
There are some great variety shows, including The Presley's and The
Baldknobber's that are extremely fun and entertaining.

There are many parks to choose from there.
