We have again made arrangements with luxurious Imperial Palace Resort for our 2002 Biloxi Chatmeet

I checked with several other places and Imperial Palace gave us the best room rates as well as allowing us the use of a meeting room as before. We are not sure we will have the same meeting room as before. We might have one closer to the Banquet Manager, but we will provide you with the information as soon as we are advised which room we will be using. We will have access of the meeting room from noon on Friday and again on Saturday. However, they will not allow us to bring outside food into the meeting room, which means I have to purchase all the snack foods through the Hotel. To help defray these costs I am asking for a pre-registration of $10.00 per person.

When making your room reservations please tell the reservation clerk that you would like a room on the lower floors, meaning between 1-15. The Hotel will not guarantee us to be on the same floor, but maybe by asking for lower floor we can all be on the same side.

The feedback I have received from most of the chatters like the idea of exchanging gifts, so if you want to participate in this we are asking the ladies to bring a gift suitable for a lady and the men to bring a gift suitable for a man and ask that you please stay as close to $10.00 as you can. Please label your gift for Lady or Man and bring it in on Saturday morning. We will meet in the meeting room about 10 a.m., break for lunch at 12 noon and meet back between 1 and 1:30 to visit and exchange our gifts. I hope some of the chatters will share their talents with us during our meeting times.
