Where is the girl once happy and free?
Iam grown but not the same me.
Where were the words, I longed to say?
If I had spoken, the pain would go away.
I am seeing the pain, why now?
who will wipe my painful tears now?
Mom and Dad did they ever know?
The creep is gone, to where I don't know.
He is dead could this be true?
My family says we have news for you.
He is not dead-HOW DO YOU KNOW?
His niece wrote and told us all so.
How is this possible? Did they all lie?
When this hit my heart I cried.
Why is he alive--who else did he hurt?
Ever since I have been on alert.
His Family has found us-why now?
I don't want to see them, I feel guilty somehow.
Healing is slow and I am so sad.
Being abused makes me bad.
Those were the thoughts he put in my head,
thoughts that make me wish he were dead.
My heart is heavy, what do I do now?
I must try to go on somehow.
This creep stole my childhood and my will,
all for glory of a pedophile's thrill.
Will he ever pay for this crime?
I hope in judgement he will get double time.
I will not charge him for me its too late,
I have to get rid of this intense hate.
I wish courage for all and loud voices to you,
so you will tell if it happens to you.
