KHADIJIAH (RA)*
"WHEN NON BELIEVED ME KHADIJAH DID. SHE MADE ME A PARTNER IN HER WAELTH."
THOSE are the words of Prophet muhammad(pbuh) about his first wife- the grear muslim lady.
Khadijah Ul-kubra. Khadijah, the doughter of Khuwailid, was born 15 year beofre the year of the elephant, in CE . Her mother was fatimah bint Zaidah.
She was a noble, fine-nature wealthy lady of Makkah. She married the Prophet when she was 40 and he 25. They had six children: two buys, Qasim and abdullah (Tahir and Tayyib), and four girls, Zainab, Ruqiyyah, Umma Kulthum and fatimah.
Khadijah live revelation come from Allah and Muhammad (Pbuh) was made the Prophet, it was Khadijah who accepted the faith and became the first muslim. She was 55 years old at the time. Her acceptance of Islam greatly helped is spread among the Makkans. She stood by the prophet all the time. In moments of trial and difficulty the Prophet used to come to her and she consoled and comforted her husband and encouraged him..
Khadijah's wealthy was used for the couse of Islam. The Prophet remained busy In preaching Islam and his devoted and loving wife looked after the children and the family affairs.
The prophet and Khdijah had many sorrows. They had to bears their sons Qasim and Abbdullahi in their infancy and in the fifty year of the prophethood their ruqiyyah left them and migrated to abssinia with her husband, Uthman bin "Affan. Ruqiyahh left her parents at age of 12 and return after four years.
During the prophethood, the quraish did all they could to stop the phrophet preaching islam. Nothig worked. The Prophet continiued his mission, relying on allah. Khadijah was his source of encouragement and comfort. She also had to bear enormous strain and suffering during the boycott at Shibi Abi Talib for three years. The Great Muslim lady Khadijah, The first Muslim died on 10 Ramadan in the tenth year of the prophethood, 620 CE, at the age of 65. Her death was agreat loss to Muhammad (pbuh). He said " I cannot bear the scene. I belive that allah has much good in it. " The prophet (pbuh) Loved Khadijah so dearly that after her death khadijah the Prophet use to remember her often. The angel Jibra'il used to bring salam (greetings) for her from Allah. The prophet consoled her and of goods news of Khadijah's acceptance by Allah in Paradise.
