How do like my baby picture? A real little darling, wasn't I?
I work in the Payroll Department and we are about to enter the world of Kronos for timekeeping and PeopleSoft for our Human resource Sytsem. Such alot of work; long hours and lots of questions.
A real party place!
Well time has gotten away from me again. My two girls keep me so busy that there are days when I don't know how it all gets done! Payroll job is starting to pick up - with our training in April and then we plan on running parallel payrolls in May and June - going live on July first. Scary - but we will handle it just fine as we are truly a team in my department - always have been. Franks faith in the Lord is alot stronger than mine - but I listen and think alot about what I hear. I have to discern things my own way and often he gets upset with me - but I am just as stubborn as he is..
I was born in Ironton, Ohio in 1947. Lived in Alliance and Cleveland for a bit and then dad moved us to Phoenix in 1952. I've seen so many changes in the cities around here - it is enough to blow your mind. Growing and bringing so many people to the valley.
I enjoy travelling - my Mom has taken me on four cruises and boy were they alot of fun. Have been to St. Thomas, Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Nassau, Panama Canal, San Juan and a few other ports. They make you feel so special on those trips that I truly wish I could do one a year. It is so good to get away and have no worries, no chores, nada.... I am hoping that Frank and I will be able to travel when we retire. I have 7 more years - he can retire now but I won't let him as he doesn't like my honey-do lists!! We want to get in the motorhome and drive; don't care which way I go - just so we are together and see LOTS of sights. I've always wanted to go to the East Coast, but on the other hand I would like to see more of California in the north. So I told him we just need to get in, get plenty of food and drive - drive.
I also enjoy reading. Harlequin's of course!! I "travel" with them all the time.. So good to read when the mind needs to rest. I enjoy sewing and rubber stamping - but don't seem to have the time to invest in it lately. Have lots of projects I could do - but so little time. I hate car trouble (which we have plenty of because we drive OLD cars; I hate hangers that connect with other hangers and form a mess; I am a diabetic struggling with my weight and taste less food - going absolutely no where with my diet and so frustrated that at times I could go crazy!! But my philosophy is tie another knot in the rope and hang on. Things could be worse - things could be better. But we all have each other and we do believe in our Lord and he is always a part of us.
My page is nothing to brag about - just some of my thoughts; don't know when I'll be back to construct more but this should be ok for now - 3/13/99.. If you read this page then I hope you enjoy it and there might be something in it would like to talk about - then by all means - write me. Peace and the Lord be with you and yours always....
