Being indie is all about doing it your way...not the way of some big corporate who just is to get all of your hard earned lolly. Keep to your ethics and don't sell out on your principals enjoy music cause you like it not because some fucked up corporation pays mega $$$$$$ to get on the top 40 charts. Indie is a way of life ... a breed of people who will keep the true spirt of Do it yourself music alive

  4 track tips for the D.I.Y Freak

  4 track tips for the d.I.Y freak If you are anything like me then you probably love winding out a few clashing tones on your guitar and running a two or 4 track in the background to capture the landscapes you create.If so will here are a few recording tips from the roonster to help you out:
  1. Get some quality tape
  2. set up some mics in a room .Quality shouldnt matter to much!
  3. press record
  4. Play loud and as fucked up as you can
  5. Red line all of your channels.
  6. these sounds should create chemical misbalance of the brain
  7. Listen to your chaos
  8. get exicted about it all.
  9. send your tape off to a record pressing plant some wher great like KING RECORDS WORLD WIDE in GERALDINE NEW ZEALAND and make 20 x 7" records for all your mates
  10. Go back to step 1
