After a crap performance at Hull we started brightly winning a corner in
the 1st minute when Lincoln's "Dodgy" keeper sliced a backpass. From
the corner Ian Clark had a shot saved well by the "Dodgy" keeper. We
did take the lead when the "Dodgy" keeper dropped a high cross and Chris
Beech tucked away loose ball. Lincoln equalised from an Alcide shot
on the half hour.
In the second half Lincoln's best effort came from a 25 yard shot which
struck the angle of post and bar, the score's stayed level and a draw was a fair result.
The loudest cheer from the City fans came at full time when the Orient score was read out, it must be nice to still have play off ambitions.

A game that would surely end our away misery but didn't. We were the

Craig Midgeley's second goal for Hartlepool, Midgeley had earlier hit the
post.

Hartlepool 3-3 Cambridge
Tommy Miller scored his first goal for Hartlepool after only 3 minutes following a low cross from Denny Ingram. Cambridge equalised in the 17th minute when a well worked free kick saw Martin Butler stoop to head past Martin Hollund from close range although the marking was non existent.
In the second half Cambridge took control of the game with 2 goals in 5 minutes, a second from Martin Butler and 1 from Paul Wanless. This prompted Taity to make a 'triple' substitution bringing on McDonald, Di Lella and Irvine for Clark, Midgeley and Beech. The change sparked an immediate effect, Irvine flicked on to Di Lella who had his shot from the edge of the box blocked by the keeper but he made no mistake with the rebound driving it low into the net. The equaliser came from another good build up, Irvine sent a high ball into the box from the left, Howard nodded the ball down and Di Lella stabbed the ball in off the post from 5 yards.
