Here is a really easy one to start you off
The beginning of eternity,
The end of time and space,
The beginning of every end,
And the end or every race.
Now here are the harder ones!
It's true I have both face and hands,
And not move before your eyes;
Yet when I go my body stands,
And when I stand I lie.
Two bodies have I;
Though both join'd in one,
The stiller I stand,
the faster I run.
What force and strength cannot get through,
I with a gentle touch can do;
And many in the streets would stand,
Were I not as a friend at hand.
Who are they who fight without weapons
around their lord? The dark ones always
protect him, and the fair ones seek to
destroy him.
To cross the water I'm the way,
For water I'm above:
I touch it not, and, truth to say,
I neither swim nor move.
I cannot be seen, cannot be felt,
Cannot be heard, cannot be smelt.
It lies behind stars and under hills,
And empty holes it fills.
It comes first and follows after,
Ends life , kills laughter.
